Ed Mendez - Committee Chair
Over the last 20 years Ed has acted at Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan, Persephone Theatre, SUM Theatre, 25th Street Theatre, multiple companies with Live Five, Gordon Tootoosis Nikaniwin Theatre, and more. He has fight directed for 25th Street Theatre, GTNT, select companies in Live Five, Burnt Thicket Theatre, and at Globe Theatre Regina. Ed has also worked as an arts administrator for SOTS, GTNT, and Burnt Thicket Theatre over the last 12 years and has served on the boards of Live Five and the Saskatchewan Association of Theatre Professionals.
PAIGE FRANCOEUR
Paige (she/they) is an emerging actor, playwright, dramaturg, and producer living and working on Treaty Six Territory. Born and raised on the Prairies, they have a steadfast and stubborn love of Saskatchewan. In 2021 they graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a BFA in Acting, as well as a Wîcêhtowin certificate in Aboriginal Theatre and minor in English. As an artist they divide their time between their two great loves, new works and classical theatre, sometimes being lucky enough to make work combining the two. Paige is a lover of cats, mob movie enthusiast, and will talk your ear off about gothic horror if you let them.
EMILY HEINEK
Emily Heinek (she/her) is an emerging artist from Saskatoon and a ‘21 graduate from the U of S acting program. She has worked a myriad of jobs for years but treasures each opportunity she gets to work in Saskatoon’s theatre community the most. When she isn’t on the grind, you can find her curating the Pinterest home of her dreams, or obsessing about her and her friends’ DND campaign.
KENN MCLEOD
Originally from Treaty 4, now living and creating on Treaty 6 territory, Kenn (he/him) is an award-winning performer, director, educator, and Clown. He received his BFA in Acting at the University of Regina and his MFA in Directing from The University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Kenn has directed over 40 productions across North America and beyond.He is a dramaturg, a clown consultant, and an Intimacy Director with training from Intimacy Directors and Coordinators.
He is a sessional lecturer at the U of S Drama Department, the Executive Director of Saskatoon Summer Players, and Co-Executive Leadership of On the Boards. He is a D&D enthusiast, a proud father, and thrilled to be a Saskatchewan Artist.
Liam Johnston
Liam Johnston is an award-winning Métis theatre artist based in Saskatoon. Liam’s passion for theatre began when he was a youth in 2015 when he joined the Persephone Young Company. Over the past decade, he has been involved in acting and designing in local theatre productions. Liam’s most recent project was Happier and Healthier by Liam Scramstad, his first foray into producing at last summer’s Saskatoon Fringe festival with That’s All! Theatre Collective.
KEVIN MOXLEY
Kevin Moxley (he/him) is an actor, educator, and writer with an undergraduate education from New York University, and an MFA in Theatre Performance from Florida Atlantic University. Kevin has worked professionally in a variety of live performance mediums and on film, including local work with Persephone Theatre, Live Five, Lolabrickida Theatre, SUM Theatre, Burnt Thicket Theatre, Channel Theatre, and Dancing Sky Theatre. Raised in the southern Appalachia region of the United States, he is grateful to be living and working on Treaty 6 Territory, and making a home with his husband in Saskatoon.

Sam Fairweather
Sam (she/her) is an actor, clown, stage manager, choreographer, educator, and dedicated dog mom who was born and raised on Treaty 6 territory. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hon.) in Drama in 2018 and her Bachelor of Education in 2020, both from the University of Saskatchewan. Sam is also a board member of Ferre Play Theatre. Outside the theatre, you can find Sam at the dog park, snuggled up watching movies, or discovering the best dessert places in Saskatoon- recommendations are always welcome!
